Andrea Goertz is TELUS's chief communications and sustainability officer.
With more than 25 years of experience in finance, business development, communications, and corporate strategy, Goertz is a sought-after leader and speaker. She leads a national team responsible for the execution of a diverse portfolio comprised of TELUS's social and media relations, community investment, executive communications, real estate, sustainability, sponsorships, and privacy.
Goertz embraces a triple bottom line approach to business, focusing on the social, economic, and environmental impact of the numerous programs she oversees. In 2015, she helped deliver TELUS Garden, TELUS's corporate home in downtown Vancouver. Recognized as an architectural and green design icon, TELUS Garden received the highest LEED scorecard ever by Canada's Green Building Council. Goertz's passion for creating the environmentally focused workplace of the future includes the launch of Work Styles, an innovative program enabling TELUS team members to work where and when most convenient and productive for them.
