Christophe Tremblay

Trained as a social worker, Christophe has a wide range of experience in research, teaching and group intervention in the field of health and social services. In particular, he has developed his skills and interests in various fields of research and intervention: gerontology; mental health; disabilities; community organization; practical training; knowledge transfer and mobilization. He has also been involved for many years as a volunteer in various community organizations in the Quebec City region. He is currently working on his doctoral thesis in social work at Université Laval where he specializes in gerontological mental health. His research work is in line with an ecosystem paradigm and a mixed methodological approach. Ultimately, he hopes to be able to contribute to the development of research and psychosocial intervention targeting aging people with mental disorders, as well as other marginalized groups of seniors.
