Julie Kon Kam King

Director of Programs since June 2024, Julie Kon Kam King's mandate is to manage the Foundation's programs and knowledge sharing initiatives, and to support the members of its community.

With degrees in Common and Civil Law from McGill's Faculty of Law, and Communications from the University of Ottawa, Julie has extensive experience in developing and managing innovative programs aimed at advancing social change.

Prior to joining the Foundation, she was the Director of Canadian Programs and member of the Senior Management Team at Equitas – International Centre for Human Rights Education. She has also acted as a Strategic Initiatives Consultant and Program Advisor for a diversity of non-profit organizations. Trained as a lawyer, Julie has held numerous positions focused on public legal education and access to justice, including Program and Content Manager positions at Educaloi and the Ontario Justice Education Network.
