Through critical exchanges, disagreement and dialogue with people in the Trudeau community, my standpoint on Canadian society and its relation to global questions of inequality, diversity and ecology has been transformed. Participation in the Foundation has forced me to reconsider the linkages not only between academic disciplines, but between the university and civil society.
