Celebrating National Indigenous History Month
In light of National Indigenous History Month, the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation would like to take this opportunity to recognize and celebrate the richness of First Nations, Inuit and Métis heritage, cultures and achievements. As such, we would like to showcase once more our experience last summer with the Mushuau-nipi corporation. It was a great opportunity for our community and ourselves to learn more about Indigenous cultures and histories that enrich our heritage.
A video encapsulating this immersive experience can be found below.
The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation acknowledges the historical depths of the traditional territory of the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk), a place which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange among various nations. We appreciate the Mushuau-nipi corporation for providing our community an amazing opportunity to broaden their perspectives and meet the First Nations.
