Community Spotlight : Dr. Antonia Maioni (2023 Fellow)

Today, we shine the spotlight on Dr. Antonia Maioni (2023 Fellow) and congratulate her on being named a recipient of Laval University's new annual recognition: Les Remarquées et Remarqués - Personnalités diplômées.

Dr. Antonia Maioni is a Professor at the Institute of Health and Social Policy in the School of Population and Global Health at McGill University, and an Associate Member of the Department of Political Science and the Desautels Faculty of Management. Dr. Maioni previously served as Dean of the Faculty of Arts (2016-2021), Associate Vice-Principal, Research and International Relations (2014-2016), and Director of the McGill Institute for the Study of Canada (2001-2011). 

Her research focuses on public policy, social and health policy, Quebec, Canadian and comparative politics, and is funded by SSHRC, CIHR, the Canada-U.S. Fulbright Foundation, the Max Bell Foundation and Universities Canada.
