Dr. Jasmine Mah (2021 Scholar) Receives the CMA Award for Young Leaders!
The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation congratulates Dalhousie University’s Dr. Jasmine Mah, MD (2021 Scholar) for receiving the Canadian Medical Association Award for Young Leaders (resident)!
Dr. Mah, a geriatric medicine resident and PhD candidate, is recognized for her accomplishments in leadership, policy change, and science communication.
Dr. Mah is currently researching the impact of social vulnerability and frailty on health outcomes and the utilization of healthcare resources among older adults in Nova Scotia. To translate her findings into practical solutions, she also investigates ways to enhance emergency room admissions for socially vulnerable individuals.
